Jake Rosenzweig

Jake Rosenzweig ( born April 14, 1989 in London, United Kingdom) is an American race car driver. He went from 2010 to 2012 in the Formula Renault 3.5 at the start. In 2013 he competed in the GP2 series.

Career

After Rosenzweig was active between 1998 and 2007 in karting, he moved to Formula racing. While he was 2.0 Eurocup with little success on the road in Formula Renault and finished only 28th place in the overall classification, he finished eighth in the Western European Formula Renault. In 2009 he moved to Carlin Motorsport in the Formula 3 Euro Series. With a podium placement in Zandvoort, he finished at the end of the season 18th overall. He also competed for his team as a guest at a race weekend of the British Formula 3 Championship.

In the season 2009/2010 GP2 Asia Series Rosenzweig went in the second half of the season for Super Nova Racing at the start and eventually finished in 30th place overall. In 2010 he went for Carlin in Formula Renault 3.5 at the start. While his teammate Mikhail Aleshin won the championship title, Rosenzweig had before only a seventh place as best result and a pole position. He finished the season in 19th place overall. He also recorded for Super Nova Racing on a race weekend of the 2010 season of the Auto GP in part, finishing in 17th place in the drivers' standings. In 2011 he graduated from Mofaz Racing for his second season in Formula Renault 3.5. After he had achieved in the first twelve races only one point, he drove the last five races three times in the points. A fourth place was his best result. He finished the season starting on the 15th place in the overall standings. Following the season, he took part for the Barwa Addax team at the GP2 Final in 2011 and was 19 in 2012 remained Rosenzweig in Formula Renault 3.5. He started for ISR. While his team-mate Sam Bird took third place overall, Rosenzweig scored with a sixth place only in a race points. He finally lay on the 21st place in the drivers' standings. Moreover, Rosenzweig participated in two events of the 2012 season of the GP2 Series for Barwa Addax in part. He stayed there with no points.

2013, Rosenzweig decided on a complete change in the GP2 Series for Barwa Addax. In contrast to his team-mate Rio Haryanto, who finished second once, Rosenzweig scored no points and finished the season off on the 28th place overall.
