Jakub Hlava

Jakub Hlava ( born December 29, 1979 in Jilemnice ) is a former Czech ski jumper.

Hlava, which is since 1986 active ski jumper, completed on December 14, 1996 his first World Cup jumping in Harrachov. He finished jumping on the 42nd place. He then paused for two years and played no international jumping. It was only on 19 December 1998, he jumped, also in Harrachov, again in the World Cup and was able to place 18 on the large hill and convince themselves internationally. However, he could not repeat that success and usually only reached the top 40 to top 50 rankings. In the Ski Flying World Championships 2000 in Vikersund he reached the 26th place. In the same season he was able to repeatedly reach the second pass and so World Cup points. 2001 and 2002 he also jumped at the Summer Grand Prix. His best individual result he achieved here with a 15th place in Hakuba on 9 September 2001. His last jump so far denied Hlava on 23 March 2002 with the team jumping in ski flying in Planica, which he shared with Jiří Parma, Jakub Jiroutek and Jaroslav Sakala finished in 8th place.
