Jakubčovice Fotbal

Jakubčovice Fotbal is a Czech football club from the northern Moravia around 700 inhabitants municipality Jakubčovice nad Odrou. The club grew from 1999 to 2006 every year and played in the 2006/07 season in the 2nd Czech league.

Club history

1952 sports club with the name Tatran was founded in Jakubčovice nad Odrou, who owned a football, table tennis and chess section. Until 1999 the footballers played either in the lowest league or a league above. This year, the owner of the local quarry, Josef Hájek offered to support the club as a patron and sponsor financially. His goal was to bring the club in the nationwide league 4.

Season after season, the team went on, in 2001 strengthened with the former legionnaire Radek Onderka, a year later with the former national player Pavel Hapal. 2003 Jakubčovice had arrived in the Divize E, the 4th league and hired the former professional football player Alois Grussmann as a coach. The football department was under the name Jakubčovice FOTBAL, sro Outsourced ( GmbH ) from the rest of the club, managing director was Josef Hájek.

The E Divize the team convincingly won, same stars of the 2005 /06 in the third-class MSFL so that Jakubčovice had arrived in professional football. Hájek still declared before the season that this would be for a small community like Jakubčovice too much, also he could no longer bear alone the budget. Therefore, he would sell the pro card at end of season.

Since the sports field in Jakubčovice did not meet the criteria for the second league, the team wore their home games in 2006/ 07 from just kilometers away Fulnek. During the winter break, Hájek agreed with the FK Dukla Prague on a license sale for season 2007/08. As early as the second round came therefore coach Günter Bittengel from Prague to meet the team that eventually eight players move to the new season to Prague.

Jakubčovice Fotbal, meanwhile converted into a public limited company, starts 2007/ 08 instead of own B- team, which was signed off in 1.A třída, the sixth- highest division.
