James Brolin
James Brolin ( born July 18, 1940 in Los Angeles, actually Craig Kenneth Bruderlin ) is an American actor, director and producer.
Life and career
Brolin is the son of Henry Hurst Bruderlin contractor and his wife Helen Sue Mansur.
Brolin made famous by the television series Marcus Welby, MD (1969 ), for which he was awarded the Emmy and Golden Globe. In the 1980s, he had the lead role in the popular series in Germany hotel. In 1983, he was the successor to Roger Moore as James Bond in Octopussy take over, but just before the start of filming the Bond producers decided yet again for Moore. One of his better known films is Capricorn One (1978). In recent years he played propagated in B-movies, or only in small supporting roles better-known films, such as in traffic - power of the cartel ( 2000). For the U.S. television he played in the 2003 biographical film The Reagans the role of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan. At his side played the Australian fellow actress Judy Davis Nancy Reagan. In the film drama The Curse of the Black Widow (2005) Natasha Henstridge played at his side. For more notoriety he could through the role as Lt.. Col. Since 1998, Brolin is married to his third marriage with Barbra Streisand and has three children from previous marriages, including Josh Brolin.
