James DeMonaco

James DeMonaco (born 1969 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American film director, screenwriter and film producer.

DeMonaco, who initially joined in 1994 as a screenwriter in appearance, announced in 2009 his directorial debut with the episode film Staten Iceland. 2013 followed the produced by Jason Blum horror film The Purge - The purging. For 2014, the second part of The Purge is: Anarchy announced.
