James Hamilton, 7th Duke of Hamilton

James George Douglas - Hamilton, 7th Duke of Hamilton, 5th Duke of Brandon ( born February 18, 1755 Holyrood Palace, † July 7, 1769 in Hamilton Palace ), was a Scottish nobleman.

George was a son of James Hamilton, 6th Duke of Hamilton. and his wife Elizabeth Gunning, Baroness Hamilton of Hamildon. At his birth he was given the courtesy title of Marquess of Clydesdale. With the death of his father in 1758 he Duke of Hamilton and Brandon was.
