James Moody (composer)

James Moody ( born November 17, 1907 in Belfast, † 1995) was an Irish silent film accompanist and composer.

He wrote many pieces for harp, including 22 with piano accompaniment, three with string orchestra, eight with symphony orchestras, as well as many chamber works for harp ensemble, with harmonica harp harmonica with string quartet and other instrumental combinations.

His harmonica work are all dedicated to Tommy Reilly, with whom he often played music together.
