James Posey

James Mikely Mantell Posey, Jr. ( born January 13, 1977 in Cleveland, Ohio ) is a former American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association. The 2.03 meter tall Posey plays the positions of the small forward and shooting guard and was founded in 2006 with the Miami Heat and 2008 with the Celtics champions. Since summer 2013 he is an assistant coach of the Canton Charge.

Career

Posey established himself in his college years at Xavier University as a reliable basketball player and was selected in the NBA Draft of 1999 18 out of the Denver Nuggets. There, the athletic Posey quickly became the starting shooting guard and was per game for 9 points and 5 rebounds well. For his performance in the first year as a pro Posey All- Rookie Second Team was called to the NBA. After three respectable years in the weak nuggets he was in the 2002/ 03 first to the Houston Rockets, and of which, in turn, transferred to the Memphis Grizzlies, where he came into the playoffs on the side of Pau Gasol, but never the first round was. Posey's girlfriend gave birth to him on 24 January 2008, a daughter named Sai Aleke Posey.
