James R. Black

James R. Black ( born April 3, 1962 in Lima, Ohio ) is an American actor and former football player. He became famous for a small supporting role in Out of Sight, and as Michael Hailey in The Burning Zone - Expedition killer virus.

Life and career

James Black played college football at the University of Akron and earned a degree in music. Later, he signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns. His career in the NFL was short- lived, as he moved to a knee injury.

Then he started acting. He had minor roles in the film, among other Highway Heat and guest roles in various shows like Walker, Texas Ranger and Nash Bridges, before he co-starred in the series The Burning Zone - assumed expedition killer virus. Later he starred in Six Feet Under - Died and always in the telenovela Fashion House.
