Jan A. P. Kaczmarek

Andrzej Paweł Kaczmarek January ( born April 29, 1953 in Konin ) is a Polish composer.

Life

Jan AP Kaczmarek has been writing since the early 1980s, film music in Poland. Originally, he had studied law in Poznan and later worked with the theater " laboratory" of Jerzy Grotowski. He then founded the chamber orchestra of eight days. The first album was released in 1982 in Chicago. Since 1989, Kaczmarek lives in Los Angeles. Since the early 1990s, he also composed for international film productions. In 2005 he received the Academy Award for his soundtrack to Neverland. 2011 was organized on his initiative and under his direction the first time in Poznan International Film and Music Festival Transatlantyk.
