January Hrušínský is the son of Czech actor Rudolf Hrušínský ( born October 17, 1920 in Nový Etynk, † April 13, 1994 in Prague) and brother of the Czech actor Rudolf Hrušínský ( born October 5, 1946). The grandfather Rudolf Hrušínský (* 1897, † 1956), as well as his uncle John Rudolf Hrušínský were also Czech actor. His nephew Rudolf Hrušínský ( born November 19, 1970 in Prague ) is also Czech actor.
