Jan Hulsker

Hulsker studied Dutch literature in Leiden. In the 1950s he was strongly committed to the establishment of the Van Gogh Museum and explored the correspondence of van Gogh. In the 1980s Hulsker emigrated to Canada.

Hulskers cataloging the paintings of Vincent van Gogh is a standard work of art history. In his enumeration of image descriptions is marked with the initials " JH ".
