Jan Kvalheim

January Kvalheim ( born February 5, 1963 in Skien ) is a former Norwegian volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Career

Volleyball

Kvalheim played in the years 1984 to 1989 Arago de Sète and won with the club the French Cup. He then moved to AS Cannes in France and was until 1992, twice national champion. In 1994 he also played in Italy in Sidis Baker Falconara.

Beach volleyball

1991 Kvalheim formed a permanent duo with his longtime partner Bjørn Maaseide. Two years later, Kvalheim / Maaseide competed at the first European Championship and were subject only in the final the Frenchman Jodard / Penigaud. The next European Championship tournament in Almería could then decide in the final against the Spanish duo Javier Bosma and Santiago Aguilera for the Norwegians.
