Jane Kaczmarek

Jane Frances Kaczmarek ( born December 21, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin ) is an American stage and film actress of Polish origin.

Life

Jane Kaczmarek graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where she met Tony Shalhoub, with whom she was part of the ensemble of the theater group at Yale later. She had many successful performances on Broadway in New York City. In The Simpsons, she speaks Judge Constance Harm. Special recognition reached Kaczmarek and outside the United States with the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, in which she plays the role of mother Lois. In the German version of Malcolm in the Middle it is synchronized by Martina Treger.

She was seven times (2000-2006) for the Emmy and 2001, nominated in 2002 and 2003 for a Golden Globe; also 2001 and 2003 for the Screen Actors Guild Awards. All nominations related to her role as Lois in the comedy series Malcolm in the Middle. Won it has no price.

Jane Kaczmarek was married to actor Bradley Whitford. From this marriage three children were born. On June 19, 2009 Whitford and Kaczmarek filed for divorce.
