Jane Marken

Jane brands, trademarks and Jeanne ( born January 13, 1895 in Paris, † December 1, 1976 ibid; born Jeanne Berthe Adolphine Crabbe or Jeanne Krab ) was a French actress.

Life

The daughter of a Belgian father and a French tried unsuccessfully in 1912 at the Paris Conservatory. In 1915 she began her stage career at the Théâtre de l' Odéon, where she was employed until 1920.

Her film debut was in 1912 in Louis Feuillade La course aux millions. 1919/20, she starred in three films of Georges Monca. When filming, she met Jules Berry in 1920 and married him. Because its morbid jealousy she interrupted her performative work until separation in 1932. It was then best known as a film actress, such as flirt ready Madame Dufoir in Jean Renoir's an outing and easygoing Madame Hermine in Marcel Carnes The Children of Paradise.
