Janick Gers

Janick Robert Gers ( born January 27, 1957 in Hartlepool, England ) is a British rock musician ( guitar).

Life

Janick Gers is today along with Adrian Smith and Dave Murray the guitar trio of British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Previously, he had several engagements, such as with white spirit or Deep Purple frontman Ian Gillan. He only joined the album No Prayer For The Dying Iron Maiden to replace Adrian Smith to the exit. After initial difficulties, he was able to integrate into the band. He impressed fans with musical interludes and wrote songs like Be Quick Or Be Dead ( on the album Fear of the Dark ( album ) ), The Mercenary and Ghost Of The Navigator (both on the album Brave New World), the title track of the album " Dance of Death "and the play" The Legacy " on the album" A Matter of Life and Death ".
