The city Janovice nad Úhlavou ( German Janowitz on the fishing ) is located on the Úhlava in Okres Klatovy, Czech Republic and has 2,236 inhabitants ( 1 January 2012).
History
The first written mention as a defense dates back to 1290th through the village once led the major mountain climb ( Výšinná cesta ).
