Jarlsberg cheese

Jarlsberg is a traditional semi -hard cheese from Norway. Its flavor is mild and nutty. The mass is golden yellow with a hazelnut -sized holes. Jarlsberg you can use as a table cheese, dessert cheese or sandwich cheese. The cow's milk cheese was developed in 1956 at the University of environmental and life sciences in Ås and is one of the meistexportierten cheeses in Norway. It contains 45 % fat in the dry matter and has at least a three-month maturity period behind him before he comes in the sale.
