Jaroslav Janiš

Jaroslav " Jarek " Janiš ( born July 8, 1983 in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech racing driver. His younger brother Erik Janiš is also a racing driver.

Career

Janiš began his motorsport career in 1989 in karting, where he was active until 1998. In 1999 he moved to Formula racing and competed in the German Formula Ford after he had occupied the seventh place overall in his first season, in 2000 he was runner-up. He also appeared in 2000 to a couple of races in various Formula series. In 2001 he moved to the German Formula 3 Championship and finished the season on the 22 overall.
