Jarzé
Jarzé is a commune with 1743 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Maine -et -Loire in the Pays de la Loire.
Geography
Jarzé located in the north of the department of Maine -et -Loire on the edge of the Grand Bois de Jarzé in the landscape Baugeois.
History
From 1790 Jarzé was briefly cantonal capital. Already in 1801 the canton was terminated, however, and largely added to the Canton Seiches -sur -le- Loir.
Culture and sights
The Church of Jarzé has a tower with twisted tip, as is typical for the Baugeois.
Traffic
Three kilometers on the road D 766 to the west to get to the airport of Angers. A mile further is a motorway junction of the A 11
