Jasen Mesić

Jasen Mesic ( born June 11, 1972 in Zagreb) is a Croatian politician and served since 29 December 2010 to 23 December 2011 Minister of Culture of Croatia.

He studied archeology at the University of Zagreb and completed several postgraduate courses, including underwater archeology.

In 2009 he was a candidate for the office of mayor of Zagreb. Many years he was president of the HDZ Zagreb. Mesic is unmarried.
