Jason Clarke (actor)

Jason Clarke ( born July 17, 1969 in Winton ) is an Australian actor.

Life

Clarke grew up in a town in Queensland, Australia.

He became better known in the years 2006 to 2008 for his role in the television series Brotherhood. In 2009 he took over the role of the gangster Red Hamilton in Michael Mann's Public Enemies.

In 2012, he starred in the films Lawless and Zero Dark Thirty. The next year he played in the film The Great Gatsby alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and in addition to Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx in the film White House Down.
