Jason Maxiell

Jason Dior Maxiell ( born February 18, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American professional basketball player.

The 2.01 m tall forward is currently in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons under contract. In the Draft of 2005, he was selected by the Pistons to 27 point. The actually too diminutive for his position Maxiell is distinguished mainly by its enormous power and athleticism.

In his rookie season, Maxiell brought in 10.05 minutes to 4.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

Prior to the 2013/14 season he was committed as a free agent by the Orlando Magic.
