Jason Patric

Jason Patric (* as John Anthony Miller Jr. on June 17, 1966 in New York City ) is an American actor.

Life

Patric is the son of Linda Gleason and her then-husband, the actor and playwright Jason Miller (1939-2001), who was best known for his role as Father Damien Karras in " The Exorcist ". Jason Patric attended run by the Salesians of Don Bosco School Preparatory School.

Patric debuted as an actor in the television film The Way Out (1985 ), in which he had taken one of the major roles. The award-winning film The Lost Boys ( 1987) by Joel Schumacher, he played the lead role. One of the main roles, he also played alongside George Dzundza and Stephen Baldwin in the movie The Beast of War (1988 ), opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh in the film feverishly (1991 ), with Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall and Matt Damon in the film Geronimo (1993 ), alongside Thandie Newton in the film Bend in the Road (1995), opposite Robert de Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Bacon and Brad Pitt in the movie Sleepers (1996 ), and ( opposite Sandra Bullock and Willem Dafoe ) in the action film speed 2 - Cruise Control ( 1997). For his role in the film Your Friends & Neighbors ( 1998), in which he had played alongside Aaron Eckhart, Catherine Keener, Nastassja Kinski and Ben Stiller, he won the Las Vegas Film Critics Society Award, and he also was a Golden Satellite Award and the online film Critics Society Award nomination. In this film, he also worked as a film producer.

The main roles in the films The Company and The Passion of the Christ refused Patric.

At the beginning of the 1990s Patric shared a relationship with Julia Roberts.
