Jason Shackell

Jason Philip Shackell ( born September 27, 1983 in Stevenage ) is an English footballer. It is versatile for a variety of defensive positions and is after many years during his training club Norwich City FC Burnley currently under contract.
Sports career
Norwich City
Shackell went through the youth academy of Norwich City and came after signing a five-year contract in January 2003 on 5 April 2003 in the second division against Derby County on his first competitive use. He represented on the left -back position in the short term virus diseased Adam Drury, although the favored position he was in future to find more in the center of defense. In the promotion season 2003/ 04 Shackell was present in six league games, but then remained long ignored in the following Premier League season 2004 /05. Wolverhampton Wanderers
On 1 September 2008 Shackell was transferred for a transfer fee of around one million pounds to the second division rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers and signed a four-year contract there. Derby County
On June 21, 2011 Jason Shackell signed a three year contract with the League rivals Derby County.
Burnley FC
For the season 2012/ 13, Shackell joined the Burnley FC. He made his debut in the 2-0 victory of his club against Bolton Wanderers on 18 August 2012.
