Jason Spevack
Jason Spevack ( born July 4, 1997 Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actor. He has, in addition of Canadian citizenship, the United States.
Life and career
Jason Spevack was born in 1997 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His acting career began in the age of five when he appeared in various commercials. His debut as an actor, he was in the age of six in the short films The School, Terminal Venus and stalker. In 2004, he played along side Joey Lawrence and Maggie Lawson in the TV movie Love Rules - love, engaged, verstritten, which aired on ABC Family, with. It was followed by A Very Married Christmas - Best wishes from Santa Claus, a further appearance in a TV movie, as well as two guest appearances on the Canadian crime series 72 Hours: True Crime. In 2005 he played among others in Mockumentaryfilm The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico, in Bobby and Peter Farrelly film comedy A man for one season, in the fourth episode of the third season of Missing - with Desperately and in the Christmas TV Movie Crazy for Christmas. In 2006 he was able to get the role of Kenneth Giles in the neo-noir film Hollywoodland. This was followed by brief appearances in television series, including Instant Star, ReGenesis and Mercer Report. In 2007, he was featured in the film The Stone Angel as a younger Marvin. In Sunshine Cleaning he plays Oscar Lorkowski, a little boy who flies from the school. For this he received a nomination for the Young Artist Award in the category Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.
In 2009 he made a guest appearance in the youth series Jared ' Coop ' Cooper - High School lawyer as Noah and the following year starred as Howie Kemp, the boyfriend of the main character Ramona Quimby, played by Joey King, in Sister Heart - Ramona's wild world. In 2010 he received the synchronous role of the ten year old Daniel " Dan " Henderson in the children's TV series Dino Dan. For this role he was along with the rest of the cast a Young Artist Award win as Outstanding Ensemble in a TV series and Spevack was also nominated in the category Best Actor in a TV series. He also had two cameo appearances in the 2011 TV series Being Human, an American- Canadian adaptation of the British series of the same name. In 2012 he was in Jesus Henry Christ in the role of the main character Henry James Hermin, a ten year old boy who is on the search for his biological father to see.
