Jastrzębniki, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Jastrzębniki ( German Falkenberg ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the municipality Slawoborze ( Stolzenberg ) in the powiat Świdwiński ( Schivelbein ).

Geographical location

Jastrzębniki located ten kilometers north of Świdwin and two kilometers west of the Province Road No. 162 of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg ) to Drawsko Pomorskie ( Pomerania ). Świdwin station is on the railway line Stargard - Gdańsk.

History

The circular layout of manor village Falkenberg 1386 for the first time mentioned in a document. Back then ordered Order Vogt Kaspar von Briesen to five hooves of the church to Schivelbein. 1540 came Falkenberg with the princely office Schivelbein to the Order of St. John.

In 1928, Falkenberg in the community Technow ( Ciechnowo ) was incorporated. The village belonged until 1932 to the district Schivelbein, he came up with the resolution to the district Belgard ( Persante ). Falkenberg was in official and civil registry district Kreitzig ( Krzecko ) in the District Court area Schivelbein.

1939 Falkenberg 139 inhabitants. The 934 -acre manor was until 1945 owned by Ivo Freiherr von Bothmer.

On 3 March 1945, the site was occupied by Soviet troops. After the expulsion of the resident population of the village was in Polish hands and is now considered Jastrzębniki a district of the rural community Slawoborze and powiat Świdwiński.

Church

Parish

Falkenberg was until 1945 an independent parish, with the parishes Grössin ( Krosino ) and Pribslaff ( Stary Przybysław ) formed the parish Grössin. It was in the church circle Schivelbein the Church Province of Pomerania in the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union. The church patronage held last Rittergutsbesitzer captain Ivo Freiherr von Bothmer. To the church Falkenberg Municipality were 1940 300 church members in 1293 in the entire parish. Last minister before 1945 was Rev. Martin Lüpke.

Today, the site is part of the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.

Village Church

Beginning of the 20th century it was Falkenberg a new church to replace the canceled in 1902 due to disrepair medieval thatched half-timbered buildings.

The new church, a handsome building with red bricks in the old religious style, took 250 worshipers and was inaugurated on 18 September 1903. On Ascension of the following year, the new organ of analysis could be handed over.

The altar Bible of the Church gave Empress Augusta Victoria, wife of Wilhelm II, the community. The two bells in the tower built breitdachig wore the annual figures 1508 and in 1595.
