Jean Aicard

Jean François Victor Aicard ( born February 4, 1848 in Toulon, † May 13, 1921 in Paris) was a French poet, novelist and playwright.

Particularly well known he was by his 1908 published book Maurin des Maures.

Aicard was elected in 1909, was a member of the Académie française in 1901 and made ​​an Officer of the Legion of Honour.
