Jean Casimir Félix Guyon

Jean Casimir Félix Guyon ( born July 21, 1831 in Saint- Denis (Réunion ) ( Reunion); † August 2, 1920 in Paris) was a French surgeon and urologist. He was the holder of the first chair of urology in France, co-founder of the Association Internationale d'Urologie and member of the Académie des sciences.

Some anatomical structures are named after him, such as the so-called Guyon's canal ( Guyon's canal; see also Loge de Guyon 's syndrome ), a channel on the flexor side of the hand that contains the Ulnar Nerve, and the Elle vessels.
