Jean-Claude Mathis

Jean -Claude Mathis ( born August 15, 1939 in Bouzonville ) is a French politician. He is the National Assembly since 2002 deputy.

Mathis worked first as an entrepreneur. At the local level he was elected mayor of Les Riceys and moved also in the General Council of the Aube. In the parliamentary elections of 2002, he moved for the second constituency of the Aube in the National Assembly, and joined the UMP in there. 2007 and 2012 he was re-elected. Mathis was one end of November 2012 to around 70 MPs who seceded with their leader François Fillon of the UMP group in the parliament and its own group founded under the name R- UMP.
