Jean-Guy Hamelin

Jean -Guy Hamelin ( born October 8, 1925 in Saint- Sévérin -de- Proulxville ) is retired Bishop of Rouyn -Noranda.

Life

Jean -Guy Hamelin received on 11 June 1949, and was ordained priest incardinated in the clergy of the diocese of Trois Rivières. Pope Paul VI. November 29, 1973 appointed him Bishop of Rouyn -Noranda.
