Jean Louis de Nogaret de La Valette

Jean Louis de Nogaret de La Valette (* May 1554 at Schloss Caumont in Cazaux -Savès; † January 13, 1642 in Loches ) was Duke of Épernon and a French military.

Life

Like his father, Jean de Valette and his grandfather, Pierre de Nogaret, sieur de Valette Jean -Louis was based on a career in the military. He took part in the unsuccessful siege of La Rochelle in 1573 and at the siege of La Charité -sur -Loire and from Issoire (1577 ) as part of the Wars of Religion.
