Jean-Louis Gagnaire

Jean -Louis Gagnaire ( born April 29, 1956 in Saint- Étienne ) is a French politician. He is the National Assembly since 2007 deputy.

Gagnaire, who took over the family business after the death of his father, studied at the Institut d' études politiques Lyon Education and Public Administration. After that, he was from 1988 to 1990 student at the ENA. His political involvement began in 1982 with the entry into the Socialist Party. In 1998, he stepped up to the elections to the General Council of the department of the Loire and the Regional Council of Rhône -Alpes. He succeeded in gaining in both parliaments. In the 2007 parliamentary elections, he ran in the second constituency of the department of Loire and was elected on the second ballot with about 54 percent of the vote in the National Assembly. In 2012 he succeeded in re-election.
