Jean-Michel Byron

Jean -Michel Byron is as Byron DuPlessis born and raised in South Africa musicians.

After a career as a session musician, he has launched several projects with cover bands and began writing his own songs and record. One of these recordings came to the drummer Bob Colomby who introduced Byron Toto. Under pressure from the record company Sony (CBS ) to get for hired him as a singer. He played as a replacement for the retired front - singer Joseph Williams with the band on their Greatest Hits album "Past To Present " (1990) four new songs. After the subsequent tour, he was asked to leave the band again, as he characteristically did not fit into the band and his live performances did not reach the desired quality of Toto. After his involvement with Toto in 1991 he brought his first solo album Byron on the market. He has also appeared on albums by various artists, such as on the first album of ambition. Next to him also play Thom Griffin ( ex- singer of Trillion ) and Tommy Denander on this album.
