Jean -Michel Cousteau ( born May 6, 1938) is a diver, a film producer and the first son of ocean explorer Jacques -Yves Cousteau and his first wife Simone Melchior.

His first dive he took in 1945 at the age of 7 years with a regulator. In more than four decades, Jean- Michel was used as a researcher, environmentalist, educator and film producer his extensive experience to show people of all nations and generations his love and concern for our water planet.
