Jean-René Bernaudeau

Jean -René Bernaudeau ( born July 8, 1956 in Saint-Maurice -le -Girard Vendée ) is a French former professional cyclist.

Career

Jean -René Bernaudeau made ​​his professional debut in 1978 at the French team Renault - Gitane, for which he drove until 1980. The champion from the Vendée in 1978 took on the team of the legendary Bernard Hinault for the first time in the Tour de France and some did not start after the 17th stage. In the next Tour de France he won on the second stage for a day the yellow jersey and won his fifth place overall and the white jersey for the best young rider.
