Jean-Yves Béziau

Jean -Yves Béziau ( born January 15, 1965 in Orléans, France) is a professor and researcher of the Brazilian CNPq Forschungrsrates at the Universidade Federal do Ceará.

Béziau is a French and Swiss citizen. He speaks fluent English, Portuguese and French native speaker and has published in all three languages ​​works. As a former student (and often as an employee ) of Newton da Costa, he works in the field of logic - particularly in para consistent logic and general logic. He received his doctorate at the University of São Paulo in philosophy and at the University of Paris in Logic and the Foundations in computer science. Béziau is chief editor and founder of the newspaper Logica Universalis and the book series Studies in Universal Logic.
