Jeanne C. Stein

Jeanne C. Stein (* in San Diego ) is an American writer of urban fantasy. She lives with her family in Denver, Colorado.

Life

Stone was known for her Anna Strong series internationally. Her debut novel The Becoming became a national bestseller in December 2006. Blood Drive, the second in the Anna Strong series, was published by Berkley in June 2007, Watcher, the third, in December 2007, and the fourth, Legacy, in September 2008.

She also has a story in an anthology titled Many Bloody returns, by Charlaine Harris and Toni LP Kelner written, which landed at No. 30 in the New York Times bestseller list. A second short story, Lucky Better Than Good, published in the anthology At the scene of the crime. It belongs to Horror Writers of America, and the RWA and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. It became the RMFW 's Writer of the Year 2008 named. The fifth novel by Jeane in the Anna Strong series will be published in the fall of 2009, The Ghost of Leadville.
