Jed Brophy

Jed Brophy ( born 1963 in Taihape ) is a New Zealand actor.

Life

Jed Brophy plays predominantly in New Zealand films, including many films from director Peter Jackson. One of his first roles played Brophy as Void in Jackson's Braindead. 1994 was followed by a supporting role in Heavenly Creatures. In The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers played Brophy 2002 Warganführer Sharku and the orc Snaga, in the sequel to The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King played Brophy turn an Orc. The next collaboration with Jackson followed in 2005 in King Kong. In the three-part film adaptation of The Hobbit, he currently plays the role of the nori.

Brophy has a son named Sadwyn Brophy, in the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King also had a small appearance.
