Jędrzychowice, Zgorzelec County

The place Jędrzychowice ( German Henner village, Upper Lusatian dialect: Hennerschdurf ) belongs to the Polish rural community of Zgorzelec and is located a few kilometers north of Zgorzelec. In particular he is known by his former major border crossing to the Federal Republic of Germany. The German Railway 4 is continued here as Polish motorway Autostrada A4. After Poland's accession in 2007 to the European Union and the Schengen Agreement border controls fell away and the border crossing with the control plants was completely dismantled by 2012.

History

On February 1, 1874, the formation of the Amtsbezirks Henner village was. This included the rural communities Henner village, Leopold Grove (now Łagów ), Lissa and Sercha and the four estate districts of the same name. Lissa and Sercha were later spun off with the same agricultural estates in the district of Lissa. On October 17, 1928, the two estate districts were dissolved and partly, partially transferred to the county-level city of Görlitz in the respective country community. On July 1, 1935, including the District was dissolved and from each of the two communities in an eponymous administrative district was re- formed.
