Jeff Andretti
Jeff Andretti ( born April 14, 1964 in Bethlehem ) is a retired American race car driver.
Jeff Andretti is the youngest son of USAC champions and Formula 1 World Champion Mario Andretti, as well as the brother of Michael Andretti. His nephew Marco, his uncle Aldo and his two cousins Adam and John are closely linked to the U.S. motorsports.
Jeff came through various junior series quickly in the CART series in 1991 and gave his debut at the 500-mile race at Indianapolis, which he finished in 15th. Only a year later, he crashed hard in his second appearance in Indianapolis. Just over halfway through the race he lost a wheel in front of Turn 2 and slammed hard into the wall. In the accident, he broke both legs and a promising career was over before it had begun. Although he was in 1993 made a comeback and even drove back the 500 - mile race, but the accident had left its mark.
