Jeff Sessions

Jefferson Beauregard " Jeff" Sessions (born 24 December 1946 in Selma, Alabama ) is an American politician of the Republican Party. Since 1996 Sessions represents the state of Alabama in the United States Senate.

Life

After school sessions studied at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, reaching in 1969 a Bachelor of Arts. He then attended the University of Alabama School of Law, where he in 1973 with a JD graduated. From 1973 to 1977 Sessions served in the United States Army Reserve and received the rank of Captain. From 1981 to 1993 he was United States Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama, from January 1995 to January 1997 then Attorney General of Alabama. Since January 3, 1997 Sessions representing his home state in the U.S. Senate; he was so far confirmed twice with a clear majority.

Sessions is married to his wife Mary and has three grown children. After studying the end of sessions worked as a lawyer in Russellville and moved to Mobile, where he currently lives later.
