Jeffrey Jey

Jeffrey Jey ( born January 5, 1970 in Lentini as Gianfranco Randone ) is an Italian music producer and singer. He is a founding member of the Turin band Eiffel 65, the world by the song Blue ( Da Ba Dee ) was announced in 1999.

Life

Born in Sicily, he spent most of his childhood in New York City, with his parents until he again returned to Italy in 1983. Already in his youth, Jey interested in working with the computer and began to play the piano. During a holiday in Turin in 1992, he met by chance Gabutti Massimo, the owner of the record label Blisscorporation to know and then moved into the city to work there. With Roberto Molinaro he made in the same year the Euro Dance Project Bliss team, which has established itself on the Italian market and in the club scene in the following years.

With his two colleagues Maurizio Lobina and Gabry Ponte Jeffrey Jey founded in 1998, the band Eiffel 65 My first single Blue ( Da Ba Dee ) was an international hit in 1999 and won numerous awards. In 2005, the group split up. Together with Maurizio Lobina he made from 2006 to 2009 the electropop duo Bloom 06 before to Eiffel 65 reunited in 2010. 2012 separated Jeffrey Jey of Blisscorporation and published in November by the label Dance and Love his debut single Out Of Your Arms. The Eiffel 65 project still exists and is working on a new album.
