Jeffrey S. Medkeff

Jeffrey S. Medkeff ( * 1968 in Akron, † August 3, 2008 in Houston ) was an American astronomer. He discovered in the period from 1999 to 2000 a total of 10 asteroids, three of them together with his colleague David B. Healy. Around 1999, he founded the Rockland Observatory in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

The June 1, discovered in 2000 by Myke Collins and Minor White asteroid ( 41450 ) Medkeff was named after him in 2003.
