Jelena Kostanić Tošić

Jelena Kostanic Tosic ( born July 6, 1981 in Split, then Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian tennis player.

Career

Kostanic Tosic began playing tennis at age seven. It reached the top 100 in singles in 1999 and 2004, the top 50

Her achievements were the third- round appearances at the Australian Open in 2000, 2006 and 2007, the third- round participation in the U.S. Open in 2004 and three final appearances in 2003 in Helsinki and 2006 in Pattaya and Bangalore.

In doubles, she stood in October 2004 in the top 30, she won eight WTA title, the last two in 2006 within two weeks at the Japan Open in Tokyo and at the tournament in Bangkok.
