Jennifer Donnelly

Jennifer Donnelly ( born 1963 in Port Chester, New York) is an American writer German -Irish descent.

She studied English literature and history at the University of Rochester in New York State and graduated magna cum laude. During a multi-year stay in London her book " The Tea Rose " was born. For her work " The Light of the North ", she received the Carnegie Medal in 2003 and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize in the category " Young Adult Fiction ".

Jennifer Donnelly lives with her husband and daughter in the Hudson Valley in New York State.
