Jens-Uwe Zöphel

Jens -Uwe Zöphel ( born June 23, 1969) is a former German football player.

Jens -Uwe Zöphel started his footballing career at the BFC Dynamo. In the DDR - Oberliga he graduated from 1989 to 1991 with Berliners 16 league games ( no goals ). In 1989 he won with the final of the Dynamo fdgb Cup of the year. In 1995 he moved from there (now as FC Berlin) to Energie Cottbus, where he had his most successful period. In his second season with the club he rose from the Regionalliga in the 2nd Bundesliga and stood with Cottbus in the final of the DFB Cup, which was lost 2-0.

After two years in the Bundesliga 2 (51 games, 2 goals), he left the club in 1999 in the direction 1 FC Union Berlin in the Regionalliga. In 2001 he transferred within the Regional to Wacker Burghausen, a year later the Dresdner SC. In 2003 he left the professional area, and first went to Germania Schöneiche in the fifth division Brandenburg, 2004 Ludwigsfelder FC and 2005 for BFC Dynamo. From late 2006 to 2010 Zöphel played for MSV 19 Ruedersdorf, 2010, he switches to the local neighbors SV 1919 Wolter village.
