Jerod Mayo ( born February 23, 1986 in Hampton, Virginia) is an American football player. He currently plays in the position of linebackers for the New England Patriots in the National Football League.

Career

Mayo attended the University of Tennessee and in 2007 had 140 tackles in the Southeastern Conference, which he was able to achieve the most. When NFL Draft 2008, he was in the first round as the tenth player committed a total of the New England Patriots.
