Jérôme-Adolphe Blanqui

Adolphe Jérôme Blanqui [ adɔlf ʒeʀo ː m blɑki ] ( Blanqui l' aîné [Note 1] ) ( born November 21, 1798 in Nice, † January 28, 1854 in Paris) was a French economist.

Life

He was the son of Jean Dominique Blanqui Convention member and brother of Louis- Auguste Blanqui Communists. Blanqui studied in Paris philology and economics. On the recommendation of the economist Jean- Baptiste Say whose direction Blanqui belonged, he became in 1825 a professor at the business school at Paris, and in 1830 director of the same.
