Jérôme Ferrari

Jérôme Ferrari ( born 1968 in Paris ) is a French writer, translator and teacher of philosophy.

Life

Ferrari's parents are from Corsica. He grew up in Vitry -sur -Seine and studied philosophy in Paris. After graduating, he moved as a teacher to Corsica. After he had given seven years at the Lycée in Porto- Vecchio philosophy class, he went in 2007 for four years at the Lycée International Alexandre Dumas to Algiers. Since 2012 he teaches philosophy at the French school in Abu Dhabi.

The breakthrough as a writer he succeeded with his novel Le sermon sur la chute de Rome ( to German: The Sermon on the fall of Rome ), which was in 2012 with the famous French literary prize, the Prix Goncourt, excellent and international sensation in the literary supplements provided.
